Adult Beginner bjj

open mat/friday rounds

Our Open Mat and Friday Rounds sessions offer students the opportunity for free mat time to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a flexible, self-directed format. Whether you prefer gi or no-gi, this time is perfect for drilling techniques, reviewing the week’s lessons, or engaging in live sparring (rolling) with teammates. While there is no formal instruction, BJJ instructors are available on the mat to answer questions, provide guidance, and roll with students. A round timer is set so you can structure your training with timed rounds as you see fit. These sessions are ideal for improving your game at your own pace in a relaxed, supportive environment.
